Unlucky. There was a debate on Mosely vs SRL for handspeed in the same thread tho.

RSN underrates Lewis and Wladdy's handspeed, both very fast HWs especially for their size

Lennox is lightning - much more natural fighter than Vlad - Vlad doesn't even look good in the clip you picked where he pot shotting a sitting duck - still just punch's like a big 6'6" 17 stone behemoth - heavy guns but not particularly quick - I think with Vlad tho its more that he's not very quick witted and doesn't react like a natural fighter - like Lennox Lewis - he just jumped on guys when he had them going

how does Vlad compare here with a big guy here who is pretty quick?

Watch Rocky at about 1:27 here versus Archie Moore - I definately haven't ever seen Vlad throw any punch like that in quick succession - never ever - if you can find me the film I'd appreciate it

Wladimir has good speed for a big man. He would use himself up in seconds if he threw a flurry like the one Marciano did against Archie Moore.

Actually Rocky the triple left hook that Wlad threw against Austin is definitely faster then anything Rocky threw.
Okay, I'll give you bowe, but Wlad, Vitali, and Lewis are CERTAINLY faster then that dude..
I can't believe youre actually saying Rocky is fast....

Check out 2:04. Those are some fast combos, no doubt about it. Wlad has exceptionally fast hands for his size.
By the way, I think Rocky would defeat Wladimir, wlad's chin just wouldn't hold up to Rocky's best punch

    here's Lewis throwing a very fast combo @ 2:11

He can seem to throw the odd shot with sudden speed - but he's like he's really having to give it everything he has to - he doesn't use fast hands as a rule - in fact as a rule when I watch him I find myself either falling asleep or wanting to turn over because he usually paws so much - but maybe its just the mental spark - the natural instinct that he's missing I don't know - but also I think that any fighter who is 185/190 would make Vlad look very slow indeed - especially a good one

I'd actually say Trinidad. History has made him seem like a sloth, but he actually had very quick hands. For proof check out the combination that dropped David Reid in the 6th, or the first left two left hooks he dropped Vargas with in the first round.

Same with Corrales. Chico was slow of foot, but definitely not slow of hand.

Hilmer Kenty was a very good choice whoever listed him. Kenty was fast as hell... still hard to believe he lost to a guy like O'Grady.

Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns... all pretty quick with the hands, just not as quick as Ray Leonard.

Tommy Morrison had pretty quick hands.

A lower level guy I thought was pretty quick at times was Mike Hunter.
