As the title asks which fighters have made you look like YDKSAB? For me there are three ways in which I've got it hugely wrong a) tipping a prospect for success only for them to be a complete bust b) confidentially picking a good fighter to win a fight easily only for them to lose emphatically c) repeatedly picking against a fighter only for them to keep on racking up the wins. So who's made a fool out of you over the years?
So, so many. David Haye most recently. And then in the same regard Tony Bellew, even including the Makabu fight and Clev II
I lost £200 because Kovalev beat Cleverly. I thought Kov was just a puncher at the time and Clev's inside work would wear him out. I was a bit off on that one. My record beside that has been good, like picking Fury to beat Wlad when nobody give him a chance.
Enzo Macaranelli. Prior to the Haye fight I was (stupidly) claiming he'd beat Haye. A beer bet later I was a months worth of beer down. Note: I never truly thought Enzo would win albeit a punchers chance, but I let my hatred for Haye rule my head.
David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko. After all the prefight hype (mainly from Haye) I was convinced that there was no way this fight would go the distance. Someone was definitely going to sleep. Unfortunately it was me watching this bore fest.
Kell Brook. I thought he would have enough to take care of Erol Spence, how foolish was I. He ended up cowered on his knees pleading for mercy, in front of all his home town supporters while bringing disgrace to the uk.
i really thought fonfara could compete with adonis. i thought there rematch was gonna be close. i was a fool for that. thinkin giraffe neck isnt gonna stick his head tall up in the air for long periods of time. such a fool for that one. i was claiming a guy like mayweather would never fight a guy like canelo. but mayweather showed me wrong. but mayweather did to a catch weight which negated the main reason why i thought may would never fight canelo but still mayweather fought him i thought art hovhannisyan was gonna be a elite boxer . i seen him on shobox n he was just so impressive i thought he would be a regular name in boxing a top 5 in what ever weight class he is in. an i repped him to ppl but he wasnt wat i thought. javier fortuna is another guy that i thought would be amazing and there is still hope for him hes a beast and still a damn good fighter but i guess hes just not as good as i thought. he should been able to woop on that sosa but sosa put him away so i dunno if hes special like i thought.
Ricky Burns, I never saw him winning a world title, never thought in a million years he would be a multi weight champion, I picked against him so many times I lost count.
