For me two of the stand outs are Kostya Tszyu and Tommy Hearns. Both those guys threw straight rights as if they were a ****en laser. So precise and so accurate. Kostya's on Zab and Hearn's on Duran are perfect examples. Wlad also has a nice one
Randall Bailey's got a vicious right straight and that's about it. Manny Pacquiao's straight left, of course. Just check out the first round of Pacquiao/Marquez I. Arthur Abraham wrecked Jermain Taylor with a straight right when they fought recently. But Tommy Hearns takes the cake. The Duran knockout is absolutely BRUTAL.
I think as ugly and awkward abraham throws that straight right of his, its the most devastating for me. The power behind it is ridicolous. Straight left, pac takes it.
holt, campbell, and bailey have xcellent right hands. The best right hands i've ever seen are probably Durans, Marciano's, and Hearn's. Lennox Lewis and Joe Louis. Danny "Little Red" Lopez's saved him from defeat several times. left hands of course pacquiao's, moorers, and hagler's. gotta mention naz as well. i've only seen footage of one fight of lew tendler, but the guy was known in his day as the "greatest southpaw ever" and with a record of 59wins with 37kos vs a high quality opposition. the guy looked like he could seriously crack and gave benny leonard all he could handle
Alexis possessed one of the more outstanding right hands I have ever seen in Boxing history. Was the result of many early nights and possessed all the qualities you'd expect from a top tier shot. Accuracy, flawless technique, speed, and discombobulating power. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGIUQ1mcZ_U[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gCSw9emh3k[/ame]
