You want your guys to get KTFO? Seriously though, RJJ's method of working the body is probably the best in terms of offense/defense/deception.
I don't teach hands down shizzle, Prime Jones had very good anticipation, and is one of the best feinters I've ever seen :good
Some of y'all may call me crazy but I like the way Alfonso Gomez throws his combos. He didn't show too much of it against Canelo but in the Contender series and against Gatti, it was pretty nice.
I've got a sound defence and foot movement :deal but i'm in constant Chad Dawson mode in there with my output :-(
Lol nah, I got my "in the cut" fighters I take stuff from too. . . For me, Ricky Burns is a guy I'll emulate. . . I like the way transitions a left hook to the body, off the jab. . . Very crisp combination puncher. . . Also like the way he times his high-guard. . .
Yep. There's so many damn things that fighters don't do anymore. We're short on feinters Guys who cut the ring off Commited body punchers etc.
I used a tennis ball from a swingball set, crimped the string to some elastic and attached it to a belt my girlfriend (at that time) had via a knot through one of the holes and fastened it around my head. It's hard to get the hang of, especially when a tennis ball is bashing your ****ing eyeballs to tears
Donaire and Floyd. Successful styles. I think it's a simple style although boring to the outside observer. Just wait for the other guy and find a moment to land something.Of course he is more brilliant at it. Because he knows where the opening are at what moment (time) and what punch to throw and land sometimes i am amazed. But it's less work than say a brawler that throws millions of punches and probably missing half. Just make one or two punch count and win that way less work.Kind of like what Floyd does but Floyd is just god gifted at it because he is hell a lot faster and has the best defense I have ever seen.He can create offense with his shoulder scroll defense.
