The Golden Boy. Oscar fought pretty much everyone out there.

ODLH is indeed one never mentioned. He fought a prime BHop ffs at MW. What a poor decision man.

My choice for ever was Marvin Hagler. He flew out to London to take the title from Minter, in front of the National Front (right wing, anti Asian black racist group), had beer bottles chugged in front of him. An all taker comer. Underrated immensely.

Hopkins ducked Roy... 60-40 to get his ass kicked didn't sound so good to B.Hop, which was more than fair at that time.

De La Hoya offered Winky a career-high payday of (I believe) $6m. Winky is on record as refusing this as he felt he was worth more.

Hard to think of any top, top fighter who fought everyone. It's easy to look back and say that certain fights should have been made.

Margarito - Mayweather is probably one of the finest examples. You look back and think "he was a good boxer, around Floyd's weight, they should have fought". If you inspect further, there's no point in time when that was the best fight to be made.

Another Floyd example, Kostya Tszyu, easy to look back and say they should have fought. I've even seen it suggested that Floyd ducked him. All of it ignores the fact they fought on different networks, which most boxrec records don't inform you of.

There are obviously some fighters who have fought just about everyone. Froch being a prime example, but even he's been accused of ducking Stevenson and this is a prime example of the first type I mentioned.

Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright. No disrespect to Oscar, the guy had balls.

I know Lewis was paid to let Tyson get to Bruno first, but I don't think he ever ducked anyone, and he was made to fight a lot of awkward guys. The ones he wasn't he volunteered for

This is such a naive question. what exactly is a duck? Is it Pac not taking the test? is it Floyd asking for the test? Is it not fighting a guy who offers no money?

the truth is almost every boxer in history has avoided a fighter for one reason or another and it is nearly impossible to say that X is ducking Y.

Boxing is a business and if it doesnt make financial sense in the short and long run NOT to fight someone it may be a duck. But these guys fight for a living and no one can fault anyone for trying to maximize their income.

Look at the names missing from Herol Graham's record, that wasn't Bomber's choice.
