A lot of posters here want PBF to fight the welters at 147lbs while the Floyd fans claim that PBF is actually a small welter and hence he can fight JMM and Pac. Now, which among the fighters is PBF nearer in size, JMM and Pac or Cotto and Mosley? If PBF is indeed nearer in size to JMM and Pac, is it ok for the Floyd fans for Floyd to fight JMM and Pac at 140lbs?
Shane and Cotto are practically the same size. Marquez is slightly smaller than Mayweather. Compare Mayweather to Mosley/Cotto theres a size difference BIGGER than Mayweather-Marquez
I know that his fight with JMM is already at a catchweight but how about his fight with Pac? Is it ok for you that Floyd fight him at 140lbs?
Im perfectly fine with Floyd going to 140. I just believe he does not like to cut weight for whatever reason.
Considering PBF started his amatuer career at 106 I would have to say he falls somewhere in the middle.
Pac and Floyd weigh pretty much the same fight night ( 146-148 ), while Mosley is a solid 160 and Cotto is 155-160. I'd say Pac and Floyd are closer in size.
aren't pacman, jmm, and hatton the same size? 5'6''-5'7'' at most? cotto is a very big 5'7'' and did most of his career at 140. shane and floyd are both 5'9'', tall for lightweights and perfect for welters, but that is just a rule of thumb. if they decide on a catchweight and the playing field is fair **** it, let'm
clearly Shane and Cotto as PBF's last 5 fights have been at WW and jrMW. The fact that he couldn't even go down to 140 to face JMM shows that he can't even make that weight.
Marquez' fight night weight was 140 in his last fight, against Juan Diaz, not 144 and Mayweather's fight night weight was not even available in his last couple of fights so I don't know where you're getting that number unless you're going way back to 2006. Actually, Floyd was already at 150 at the weigh-in against Oscar de la Hoya This content is protected
