    He’s no spring chicken but the thread title states “Relatively early in their career”.

    It doesn’t get any early than your first pro fight in boxing - and that fight will be his legacy.

    If you’re just talking about his viability going forward, I was simply musing re a one off return match vs Fury.

    I think if it was offered to Francis he’d take it.

    Anyone who achieves and then dies at an early age is preserved forever because we never see if they could have sustained greatness.

    Salvador Sanchez, Stanley Ketchel to name two. Not just in boxing either: i.e. Marilyn Monroe and James Dean.

    You know what they say: Die young and leave a good-looking corpse.
