Oh without a doubt, the jab and reach would set his right hand up.

Ray leonard, Aaron Pryor, Hearns,Duran, JC Chavez etc etc ... The all beat Mayweather

Just one observation: If you have so much trouble twice Castillo, imagine what a prime Duran would do to you.

He won the fight while injured, practically sweeping the first half. The rematch was less close likely because he was in better health.

I'm hoping this is a sarcastic post... but seemingly it's not. SRR would absolutely destroy May, and the fight wouldn't even be relatively close. Same with SRL and Hearns, it would mostly be a non fight. Pea wins, Duran wins, Armstrong wins and so does Kid G. There are plenty of others I'd make favorites over Floyd as well.

I don't rank Floyd especially high at 147....Floyd is competitive with anyone from 130-140 IMO.

Chavez may beat him in those divisions, particularly the Chavez of the Rosario fight at 135.

Duran beats Mayweather by competitive decision, I've posted that ****ysis on another thread.

Arguello is very dangerous, especially at 130, but I lean towards Mayweather there.

Whitaker wins a 7-5, 8-4 type decision at 135 and 140, with his pesky right jab and superior workrate being the difference.

Camacho at 130-135 is dangerous. Southpaw with absolutely blazing speed with decent pop. I think in the end, Mayweather's ability to adapt and Camacho's tendency to go into a shell when he's eating leather makes the difference and Floyd wins a close decision.

Part of me thinks Pryor is all wrong for Floyd and would outwork him, but another part of me think Floyd takes advantages of pryor's openings and wins through a lot of hit and clinch tactics.

I won't comment on past greats that I haven't seen much footage on (such as Ike Williams)

Prime, welterweight Ray Robinson would've definitely beat him. Sugar had the height advantage, about the same reach, he could outjab him then turn around and fight great on the inside, he had the footwork, the quickness, the endurance and stamina, very good on defense too, very hard hitter, major, very quick combos, one-punch knock-out capability, big time precision, great chin... But everyone knows about it, arguably the GOAT p4p boxer. Just too much for Mayweather. I can definitely see him KO'ing Money, as well.

Thomas Hearns would've been a handful for Floyd, to say the least. Honestly, can't see Floyd beating him, even if the Hitman wasn't always the smartest boxer.
Sugar Ray Leonard would be too much for him, tbh.
You got Henry Armstrong who would've went in on Mayweather on the inside. He'd beat him.
I think Duran would win vs Floyd more than the other way around.
Kid Gavilan could probably hand him a defeat.

Him vs Sweet Pea, at lightweight, would've been a great defensive matchup... Not sure who'd win.

For the middleweight divison, Floyd just wouldn't move up to fight guys like Hagler, Monzon, LaMotta... And even if he did, he'd lose against Marvelous or Shotgun, I'd even say the Bronx Bull too.
