No way could Lewis have stopped the Fury that beat Wlad in one round! Look at all the fighters that went past the first round v Lewis and how many of them were nowhee near Fury`s level nor did they recover from being out cold v Wilder.

    Takam.

But if you get one of those brit refs in like they did for the Takam fight then even a titanium wall would be counted out.

That Takam stoppage was pitiful. The bodybuilder's personal referee got a nice brown envelope after that bout.

Can’t get behind that. The difference in ability, IQ and speed and agility is a chasm, in Lewis’s favour

plus joshua gets decimated by LL’s jab. I like Joshua too but nowhere near Lewis’s bracket

Lewis WAS stronger Mark, it’s what all his opponents say including Holyfield, “ you clinch Lewis and he moves you where he wants you, very strong”. AJ’s aggressive if he’s not worried, if he’s worried then he fights like he did in Ruiz 2.. A big man like Joshua would get slaughtered by Lennox, it’s the smaller ones Lewis struggled with

Nah, there’s more fighting heart in Fury than Akinwande

He'll die trying, I admit Fury is the better boxer than Aj but Aj is better at midrange

Yes he is but Lewis wasn't even trying. Aj vs Lewis would obviously be competitive but Lewis would have him out of there by round 7. He'd fight Aj aggressively. Lewis is more skilled and hits far harder

Wilder cant fight at mid to close range. If he tried to go toe to toe with Lewis he'd get obliterated, and so would Fury

I just feel that Foreman’s power wins out if he can lure AJ into a slug fest or time his right hand ala Moorer. Bowe had a great chin as far as I’m concerned and with his inside skills (heck, even his skills fighting off the jab would be enough imho) he could turn the match into a dog fight the likes of which AJ has never seen. Mercer had a mammoth chin for the most part and if he turns up in shape and focused, he takes the W. The key factor in all 3 match ups is that AJ has never fought anyone of their caliber and would find himself in much deeper water than he has ever experienced. But this is just one man’s opinion.

Yea but AJ throws in combinations and is a lot better at setting up his power shots. He’s also a lot taller and has a longer reach than Shavers. I’m not saying AJ would stop everyone in history, but he definitely has potential to.

Its a fair point to bring up and one many feel is a valid and true one

On that basis alone it will keep being discussed

Quite a few people with boxing experience say it so not true
