People hate on Floyd by saying he "takes fights that he is 100% sure he can win".

Are there any fighters out there who take fights that they are not confident in winning??

And if so....would you want to watch them?

I don't think anyone actually thought they'd beat prime Tyson.... they walked in that ring knowing they'd get put down..

I'm surprised no one else could come up with an answer on this.

Because it's one of the dumbest questions ever asked.

You're quote doesn't even match up with the thread title. Confidence is one thing but being sure that the other guy doesn't stand a chance is what people say about Floyd

So these same guys stand a chance against Pac, but not against Floyd?

That must mean Floyd is held to a higher standard....

    Two Categories should be discussed:

Lesser known Fighters who are trying to hit the big time will fight a popular fighter if it will raise their stock.

Well known fighters(Like Mayweather and Pac) only take fights they feel confident in winning.

true. there's no one at floyd's size that should be a favored over him. he's that good. he bleeds and people celebrate here like crazy.

Once a fighter is earning top pay regardless of who he fights, He starts to cherry pick.

As an example, outside of Margarito, Pac would not have fought A let 154 champion not even at a 150 catchweight.

Likewise, even though he fought Oscar and Cotto at 154, Mayweather would never fight Sergio Martinez at 154.

Floyd is greater they secretly know it...so he does get held to a higher standard... some people don't like to admit it... they would rather talk about things like limo rides and free buffets
