I like watching Mares, Ward, and Donaire they're pretty smart fighters. Fight like vets(apart from Nonito's taunting at times lol).

Gatti I respect for his heart but the guy could box it was a bit frustrating he didn't choose to do so more often. Then again Morales also made fights harder than they needed to be at times with lack of patience but both are warriors I respect. Any fighter willing to put their life on the line to give fans the fights they want to see in the ring gets big props from me.

I would say at least 5 or 6 of those names. A handful for your personal (perhaps local) favorites, and a few must watch because they're at the very top of the sport.

Watch any boxer at the top level, period. These guys are phenomenal. Even guys that have "glass chins" in the boxing community need 200 flush shots to the dome before they go down, and usually the ref has to stop it before that even happens. True warriors.

As far as athleticism, when is the last time you saw two guys leaning on eachother gasping for air? Clinches happen because of clashing styles, not neccessarily cardio issues.

Skill? Well as long as you use your style effectively then it's all good. Brawlers need to brawl, boxers need to box etc. etc.

I am making a good attempt to be a boxing promoter haha.

Gonna say Mayweather, despite the fact every time I watch him I wanna see him get put on hid ass, u have to appreciate he either totally dominates or put's ot a clinic

    Marquez.

A highly skilled fighter who is labeled a counter-puncher yet has given us so many FOTY type performances.

As many as possible. But especially the guys at the top whose careers have the most macro-historical importance to the sport. Mayweather, Pacquiao, and the Klitschkos but also less popular fighters like Martinez, Ward, Nishioka, etc.

    Oh, and Koki Kameda.

Actually the best choice out if ur list has to be Andre Ward. Because a 'true' boxing fan would ****in order Showtime just to watch the super-six, stream the fights or find a mother ****er who has Showtime. You know true football fans aint going to miss the playoffs. So if u dont know Andre Ward, one of the best in todays game then you aint ****. I know too many people who think they are 'true' boxing fans and dont know who Sweet Pea is. Asswipes.
