    Bob Fitzsimmons was probably a 'killer" in the ring....because he had the power to do it....and the rules back then put hurt opponents in jeopardy.

    Bob Fitzsimmons does have a couple gravestones to his name. I recall reading somewhere that he practiced excellence in body punching to prevent similar tragedies. He was on trial for manslaughter.

    *I knew Tony Ayala back in his hay-day... the guy was fukn mean in the ring. He wasn't scared to get in the ring with anyone... at 13.. 14 yrs old, he was already an animal... truly a talent gone bad..but there was no dog in him... he'd fuk u up.

    Yes he was...like Monzon, Sonny was of the coldblooded variety. An interesting thread would be to list the coldblooded killers of boxing.

Bert Lytell is my summer project this year and I'm wondering how to bring up the southpaw stance that would not be a regurgitation of the treatment I gave it in the "The Eighth God of War."
