The argument is kind of easier to make the other way.

Look at fighters who were obviously tremendous hitters, or just brilliant generally, who had low KO%s.

Spoiler alert, they all fought ridiculously strong opposition.

    Just trolling my favorite target.

Vitali is the obvious answer. An crazy KO percentage for an arm puncher. But that didn't mean he wasn't good at stopping opponents. He quite obviously was. He just went about it differently.

George Chuvalo - his record was heavily padded w/ quick KOs of Canadian clubfighters, but @the world class level he was basically just a solid, but not spectacular puncher.

Probably Roberto Duràn,I don't deny he can generate crazy power at times, downing Iran and Paz above his weightclass, and concussing Ray Lampkin, but he's mostly just a wear down shredding pressure fighter,he'll gradually shred you piece by piece before landing that final ko punch.

    You beat me to it!

My favorite boxer was more of a volume puncher.

Marcos Villasana had a KO ratio in the 80's I think, though I wouldn't really qualify him as a one hitter quitter.

Zeljko Mavrovic. Couldn't even stop the guys who were previously KOed by feather-fisted Larry Donald

Ray Leonard's KO% wasn't impressive but his power was. Some of his knockouts were extremely brutal, including the ine against much bigger man in Danny Lalonde

Didn't Mac Foster had a hundred percent KO rate in his wins? Quarry said he could punch like hell in the post fight though.

Great effort to post this list, thank you.

Apologies for being pedantic, but it's worth specifying that, as is the case with the figures reported on Boxrec, these numbers represent the percentages of total wins, rather than total fights, that each fighter won by stoppage.

I.e. Primo Carnera had 102 x fights, 88 x wins and 71 x wins by stoppage. 80.68% of his wins were by stoppage. He won 69.61% of his fights by stoppage.
