Taylor, Mundine, Bute, Pavlik, Dawson, Hopkins....?

IMO Kessler beats all of them and the only one to spell trouble is Dawson.

What do you think? Kessler almost has no management but his talent is A level!

I think beating any of these would get him a spot in the top 10 since he is just outside it, for me.

Beating Mundine and Bute or Taylor and Hopkins would make him #10; beating Pavlik or Dawson would make him #9.

I added Pavlik - Kessler could be top ten material if he beats Dawson. For sure.

    How about top 5 p4p?

Kesslers talentis A level, but I think its gonna be hard for him tio crack the p4p top 10. He would beat Mundine and Bute, but that won't do it for him. I think old man Hop would beat him. Dawson I would give a very good chance to beat him, but even if Kessler wins, this just inches him closer. Taylor, thats a fight I'd like to see. Had Jermain beaten Pavlik the 2nd time around and then fought Kessler and Mikkel got the win, that might have been enough to sqeeze him in. Right now, it would push him closer, but withgout anyone in the lower half of the top 10 losing, its just not enough imo.

    Kessler would beat Hopkins.
    Kessler would beat Taylor BAD.
Kessler would struggle with Dawson but he would win.
Kessler would beat Pavlik by tko.

Your comment about Bute is insane. Bute hasnt fought anywhere near the competition that Kessler has. Jesus:patsch

If Dawson gets past Johnson and Diaconu, he is p4p #10 for me.

The same aplies to Pavlik, if he beats Abraham. In this case:

Kessler would need to beat Pavlik, Bute, Mundine at 168 and Dawson at 175 to be p4p no 5, but it depends what others in other division do...he might not have good enough comp to do that unless he demolishes them.

Nothing in boxing is a fact, although I would also favour Kessler over those three...

To say neither of those fighters (two of them who have a bit of pop, too) cannot win, as a fact, is going a bit far.

EDIT: Taylor, Frock-Inkin winner, then Mundine (or Bute, or even Better - the winner of a fight between the two - making him undisputed SMW champ) - And he'd scrape in at no. 10 or 9 (lower end).

Add Dawson, and he's definately a top ten p4per. Depending on where Dawson is at that stage, perhaps quite high.

Obviously it's Hopkins (barring a lost to JC) . . . Bhops is the only one rated high in the p4p list.

OK - I would say Kessler has 90 % chance of winning those three no matter where they fight. Dawson is 60/40 or 50/50.

Guess youre right. Hopkins is the only way to top 5 p4p.
But IMHO Kessler beats the old man with a clear margin!!!

i think hes a little far off to be talking about him in a p4p ranking. he did just come off a loss to a boxer whom many question. p4p fights gotta be able to bang it out and win in their own weight class

also i think most of those guys would give him competition. kessler is great but the competition is near equal. dawson pavlik and hopkins def give him a ton of trouble. i think taylor does too if he can keep his stamina for 12 rounds and i dont see him as far superior to bute

Freedom of speach is a gift for someone like you.

Calzaghe is not questionable. Kessler is already close to p4p top ten.
