Wlad vs Haye has to be #1 in recent memory, up there in All Time history. Wlad refused to engage a guy half his size and should never be televised again. Hopkins vs. Wright hasn't been mentioned, but it was a snoozer. So was Joe Cal vs Kessler, which was around the same time.
First one that came to mind. Regardless of who they tipped to win, most observers were predicting an action-packed, multi-knockdown, momentum-swinging fight for the ages. The fight failed on every single level - an absolute stinker with a controversial decision, no rematch, and the perception of both fighters was negatively affected - Trinidad for what happened in the first 8 rounds, and DLH for what happened in the last 4.
recently ? pac v mosley really stank up the joint for me.. you put pac in with anyone and up until that night you expected a war, mosley was being to friendly , to gunshy and pacquiaos inability to cut off the ring really showed bradley v alexander and god was klitchsko v haye a terrible fight, me and my other boxing fanatic mate got togather a few of the boys to watch the PPV and we actually apologised for making them watch it once it was done... we promised them this was not boxing
From this year I would go with Adamek Chambers. On paper it looked good, two fast top 10 contenders. Shame on Eddie, all he did was clowning, didn't fight back, blamed injured arm which I believe he injured during his training camp - I'm 100% positive that he was injured before entering the arena. After the first round he switched on his safe mode, which is: run run run, slap run run run slap, make stupid expression after getting punched, run run run. He ruined one of the best HW fights to be made in 2012. I think that Chambers is done. No TV station will risk inviting him, he just doesn't deliver excitement, blames judges etc.. **** even scene had it 116 - 112 for Adamek. I don't understand why Chambers has so many fans in here after pulling out of Thompson, Liakovitch, Fury fights and ruining the Adamek which was probably the most important fight in his career, being inactive for over a year, and disgustingly overweight all his professional career.
Your having a laugh blaming Wlad, surely... he did all the scoring yet Haye was the one content to lose & stay on his bike.... despite all his big mouth bull****. Wlad did what Wlad does, he outboxed him... Haye didn`t do what Haye said he would do, blame that dick if you never enjoyed the fight.
haha Nice. Yeah hagler - hearns was a snoozefest so was berto - ortiz. I was hoping mayorga vs cotto would be more interesting...
Morales vs Barerra 1 I thought they were going to box but all the did through out the match was go toe to toe. They need to learn from Floyd.
the ones that pop to mind would be: klitschko/haye ortiz/mayweather would have liked it to go longer to see it he could have got to him in the later rounds.
