    Rosario
    Jose Luis Ramirez
    Roger Mayweather
    Meldrick Taylor.

If you want evidence of how great Whitaker is i'd say watch that fight too.

the Laporte fight is good as well. It was the closest fight Chavez had at 130 or 135 lbs. It's more competitive than vs. Ramirez or Mayweather. for pure competitive action, watch his first fight with Randall.

Ruben Castillo- excellent fight. That finishing combo on Castillo before throwing him to the floor tells you all you need to know about Chavez- you could do what you wanted but he would punish you even if you were in a tight clinch or believed to be at a good distance. The image of him being raised by his corner while Castillo lying on the floor battered and being cradled by a cornerman was very brutal. Remember this is the guy who a few years earlier pushed Sanchez pretty far

Beautiful work, upstairs 'n down, it doesn't get better than JCC's destruction of Rosario -- a QUALITY fighter.

I echo all who suggest the Rosario fight. Never was a true fan of JCC, but I find the Rosario beatdown fascinating...I am a fan when I watch that one...and the Camacho torture session as well.

    Key fights in order:
    Mario Martinez-Brutale title winning effort.
Edwin Rosario-Utter desruction. best win of career.
Roger Mayweather II- Beating had Roger shaking his head, he didn't want anymore.
Hector Camacho-domination, did Chavez carry Hector, to punish him? (rumored).
Meldrick Taylor-Patient, deliberate attack. knowing he couldn't match Meldrick's speed. Late fight rally to pull it out.
