And if they were to fight in these forms who would win.I'm not using the word prime because I want to know which fight they displayed all of their tools at their peak and then I would like to match those particular versions up against each other.

Id say Holyfield against Bowe in the second fight. He showed a little more discipline against a physically bigger man.

With Tyson I would say Tubbs, he showed some good inside and outside fighting as well as the perfected body head combo that really nailed Tubbs on a couple occassions.

Tyson at his best beats the best version of Evander Holyfield.

I'm gonna go with the Evander that destroyed Douglas or the Evander that dismantled Bert Cooper VS. and the Mike Tyson that buried Spinks.

Holyfield displayed all his tools (at their best) in the Qawi fights.

But as we are talking about HW, his best fight was the Dokes fight IMO.

Tyson's best fight was the Spinks or Biggs.

If those two were matched up... Tyson would win.

    That's impressive because I'm....

    HOLYFIELD HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK!

    :)

I want to say Tyson wins but The best version of Evander might have been able to weather the storm that Tyson unleashed that is if he were to fight outside the entire fight, if Tyson gets inside likes he wants to then the fight will end in a KO within the first 5 rounds.

I can't see any version of Tyson beating Holyfield.

Holyfield was at his best for Douglas.

Tyson was at his best for Spinks, Holmes or Tubbs.

Its hard to say Tyson was at his best against Spinks because the fight was so short. At least against Tubbs he showed some quality work breaking down a fighter who was both mobile and slick and lasted more than a minute and a half, but Tyson was ready to kill anyone that night.

True, and Spinks offered very little resistance. He quit as bad as Douglas did against Holyfield, to be honest. He took that body punch and folded up his tent. The "finishing" punch was nothing really.
At least Tubbs got hit some solid shots.

I would have to disagree with that. I think Tyson just mowed over Spinks, which probably wouldnt happen against Holy, but I think Spinks took a very nasty finishing shot. His eyes rolled completely back in his head and he was unconscious.

Point taken on Tyson/Spinks and yes Spinks really did not have the "want to". He seemed scared shitless infact, which was another part of Tyson's arsenal "Complete intimidation" (the mental advantage and total confidence in his game)he had all of his opponents not giving themselves a chance in hell to win and they would rather be focusing on surviving the fight without permanent damage inflicted on themselves and being able to leave the ring once they have been embarrassed on their own two feet.

Whether it was the Spinks fight or the Tubbs fight , I don't think any Heavy at their most peak moment could overcome Tyson during these moments were he dominated.

Even if Spinks wanted to, he wasnt strong enough to keep Tyson off of him. I dont think Holyfield would have either at his best physically. He would have had to fight and Tyson would outfight him. The version Holyfield beat wasnt the same offensive and defensive fighter. Tyson always put punches together when he was younger, not that falling in one at a time crap thats easy to counter.

the fights that happened between holy and mike were a farse. Mike was not shot by any means, but he was in no way the same fighter that he was in 86 -89 . there were two many dynamics that led him off of his path

Peak Tyson: '86 Ribalta to '88 Spinks.

Peak Holy: '90 Douglas to '93 Bowe II.
