Which fights would've turned out differently if 15 round matches still existed today?

Here's my list of fights that would have ended differently if boxing still consisted of 15 rounds today:

    - Margarito/Williams
    - Hopkins/Taylor 1
    - Trinidad/De La Hoya
    - Marquez/Pacquiao 1

These are just a few I could mention off the top of my head now.

Not sure. Fighters probably would have trained differently if they had to duke it for a solid 15. Much more focus on anaeorbic training for instance. This would change the course of the fight.

Barrera vs Morales 3..Marco was beginning to tire. I felt he lost the last 2 rounds.
Pacquiao vs Morales 1- same reason as the 1st one.

I think there would've been a lot of fights that turned out different had they been 15 rounds. Yes fighters would've trained and strategised to go 15, but fighting past fatigue and all sorts of other intangibles come into play. Some fighters because of their style have more of an advantage in a 12 round fight and others will always pull it out in what were the championship rounds. For example Ali beats Frazier more comfortabily in a 12 round fight then a 15 round fight, Ray Leonard always beats Tommy Hearns over 15 but gets outboxed from the outside in a 12 rounder.

Calzaghe could have TKO'd Hopkins, or Hopkins would have been DQ'd. Even the most adament of Hopkins fans can't hide the fact that he was completely exhausted and looking pretty bad.

I think Vitali's eye would beg to differ. :D Plus the fight didn't go the distance anyway.

You're being sarcastic though, right? good one.
