Among the lineals I see four that stand out:

    Jeffries
    Baer
    Ali
    Holyfield

There about four or five who you could argue for being the fifth on the list.

    McCall
    Vitali
    Ali
    Holyfield
Mercer (if he counts) .. if not Foreman

These to me are the ones tested by major heavyweight hitters ..

If were limited to just 5 only gun to the head, these 5 for sure have to be included.

Pinklon Thomas deserves serious consideration. Only on the canvas once and it took a prime Tyson 15 consecutive punches to do it.

All known for terrific chins for sure .. but there is a big proven difference between getting hit by Max Schmeling or 170 pound Fitz or getting hit by a Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson or George Foreman.

No Ali? Surely he's up there. Ali, Holyfield and Foreman are the ones who sprang immediately to my mind. Tyson probably belongs somewhere near the top as well.
