    I see Ali get many mentions here. And, yes, Ali fans tend to think Ali was unbeatable at his best, which most likely isn't true. But Tyson, Marciano and Lewis fans have the same view of their guy. The difference is that they have less to base it on.

    If Ali had been dominated twice by a post-Foreman Frazier and Ali fans stil claimed that 60's Ali would destroy a prime version of Frazier, then you could say that Ali fans are as deluded as Tyson fans. But as it is, not quite.
