I can agree with this. Tyson had concentration lapses in many a fight. A good example would be the Ribalta fight. There were lulls in action throughout. Ribalta did a good job of tying up Tyson and sometimes the only action resulted from Ribalta sneaking in a shot with Tyson countering.

I love Marciano, love watching him and reading about him, but to agree with the logic of his fanatics you must assume he was the greatest, most unique physical specimen The Almighty ever created.

They do him a disservice imo, because this creates an inevitable back lash .

    Why?

Ali said Marciano would be his toughest fantasy matchup. Does he also have rose colored glasses on?

Did he ever say any past heavyweight was shyte? He was complimentary to all of them.I think Marciano would be target practise for Ali.Do you seriously think he would be his toughest fight? Yes or no?

Do you know much about Muhammad Ali?

And yeah, I think Marciano is his toughest matchup in history. Style is disastrous for Ali.

Lennox Lewis. The level to which his diehard fans will go to embellish his skillset/resume and excuse his losses is amusing.

I know you're already racing to find an excuse.
So go ahead, tell us why Ali doesn't know what he was talking about, and why you know better than him.

Well I've seen all his filmed fights ,I was in my last year of school when he won the title.I saw him on many closed circuit fights ,went to a talk in he did, and watched him give 2 exhibitions ,I have a collection of his fights and watched them as they happened and of course I've read just about every book published about him.I'd say I have a smattering of knowledge about him, nothing to compare with yours of course!
