Which Former Heavyweight Champs And Contender s, Would Be Fighting At A lower Weight Now?

I am very against all PEDs & cheating Richard.
But you continually suggest without evidence that most all of the modern guys drug up.
You have no idea how many of them dabbled, use(e) regularly: or are lifetime clean.

I believe you are unaware that the other weight classes, even much smaller than HW, can use PEDs.
To reach strength they would not have naturally with their frames. To get greater energy.
Also some PEDs maximize strength without adding much bulk at all-like what baseball's A-Rod (lied about) was taking.

 

A few things here.

Some are HW & modern size & never touch a PED. Maybe most. We do not know.
You can research what years of lifting, observation & the science says about natural potential.

Now Rocky was 205 naturally-but practically nobody fights HW at that weight, he would be at most a CW IF he did not lean down.
But then he would lose some of his endurance & workrate.
Rocky also did not have the bone structure to be much bigger than that (if fairly lean) naturally.

 

Rocky was about 190lbs in his prime with an easy 20lbs to trim not to mention waterweight.

 

I think Louis could make cruiser pretty easy. But he would give up some of the advantages today that made him a good HW.

with only 1-3 fights per year and months & months to boil down, why would they do it any different to ALL Other Fighters Today?

very few HWs in the past exceeded 6'2", the same size as todays MW's - L-HWs.

and not just HWs, it would be the same for Every Weight Division - MOST Past Fighters would be fighting down, just exactly the same as fighters do today.

 

Sam Langford wouldn't be sanctioned by any of the governing bodies to box at HW in this day and age.

 

Wilder fought Hayes, who wasn't bigger than Langford and was a washed up MW. You clearly overestimate the elitism of modern HW division.

minority exceptions are not the majority,

today's HWs are Giants and MOST other divisions, generally speaking, are filled with fighters who in the past would have been in a division or two up/heavier.
