This is something that has amused me. Listening to all the interviews over this year with the so-called experts and everyone is saying different stuff.

People saying things like "in the second fight especially Fury was very close to beating Usyk" or "the second fight in particular was close" and then there's other interviews where people are saying "the first fight was obviously closer".

To me the first fight was closer and the second one was a bit of a stinker.

Either way he was beaten quite comfortably, not a total landslide but definitely beaten. Joshua pushed Usyk closer in the second in my opinion.

Fury I until round 9 was Usyk's only HW match where he geniunely seemed like he might come up short for once.

I dont understand people who say the 2nd was closer. I thought the 2nd was pretty comfortable for Usyk throughout the fight.

In the 1st Fury genuinely had Usyk in trouble for the first half of the fight.

Fury looked comfortable for about three rounds i wouldn't agree with first half of the fight, but agree with you in principle. Not sure why people say the second was closer. I forgot who said that in the last week. Perplexes me.

Fury had a couple of good rounds in the middle of the first fight. In the second Usyk cruised through it IMO.

why is ingle so far up Fury? Says he thinks Fury won the first fight... then he says for the second you could make a case for either... lol How can he say he's head and shoulders above Joshua and Dubois without having faced them?

Fury did well in the middle of the first one but Usyk’s superior fitness took over and started picking Fury off.

I scored the first 115-112 and the second 116-112. Under no circumstances can I see Fury getting the nod in either.

Fury was clowning the feather fisted little middleweight in the first fight until he got tagged.

thing is with fury USKY with the size and weight difference fury shouldn’t get any credit for beating up on a midget anyway, USKYs achievements against the giant ATG are even more impressive given the massive handicap that could not exist in any other division outside the blue riband division of the BIG DOGS.

From memory I gave Fury a strong 4,5,6 and 7 plus one round even in the first fight. In the rematch, Usyk had him completely sussed throughout.

Weird one because 2 very different fights. in rounds 5 and 6 in the first fight Fury looked to be in control at one point.

2nd fight I felt was actually closer because Fury fought a disciplined fight but overall just didn't do enough and Usyk outlanded and outworked him.

2 completely different fights. Almost like different fighters in them to an extent.

Nitpick but 8th was close as well, Fury didnt look to be definitively losing until round 9.

All about opinions but for me you could have scored the first fight 115-112/114-113 Usyk or 114-113 Fury. I favoured Fury and looking at the reactions at the end of the fight, I think both corners thought Fury was getting the nod. Usyk has actually said that was his hardest ever fight. Rounds 5&6 were very dominant Fury rounds where he was doing a number on Usyk.

The second fight, I thought Fury fought within himself and Usyk won 115-113

Usyk outlanded Fury 2:1 in round 8. On top of that, Round 7 could have gone either way. Fury only had 3 rounds he won clearly - 4, 5 and 6.

There is no way to score 7 rounds for Fury if you're being objective. 6 is absolute max you can give him and even that's a stretch.
