Sean Gibbons said that they want either of the Garcias next. Danny's coming off of KOing rugged journeyman Granados. Mikey is coming off of being shut out by Spence. Danny lost (in my opinion) to Herrera and drew with PEDerson. Then he lost to Thurman and Porter. Mikey hasn't won controversial victories, but he did get shut out versus Spence. Mikey brings a higher skill set, but Danny brings more size and power and an iron jaw. Which win would be better on Pac's resume?
Also, who do you think has a better chance of beating Pac? I say Danny because of size and power, but I think Pac tees off on both while losing 1-2 rounds max. Pac won't gas because neither man brings the pressure and pace. Mikey would likely get stopped.
That is a very good breakdown. Personally, I also believe the lack of speed means Danny will get KO'd. I don't think he can KO Pac or catch him with a 'lucky' punch. I don't think Mikey has a change either.
I think Danny would be better for both He'd be more of a threat to to Pacquiao (not that I think either would actually beat Pacquiao) due to that left hook and as a bigger stronger guy, than Mikey and Pacquiao I'd say that's a better win pfp. However when people are looking back at Pacquiao's staggering career they'll say he (if the Mikey fight happened) that he has a win over a multiple weight champion. So it's close. But based on the size difference I'd pick Danny.
