And no way Terry Norris beats Floyd - that guy is the most inconsistent "great" fighter ever, with the worst luck in match ups that could possibly occur. Knocked down by journeymen, shaken by shots that should never have landed on him - the biggest underachiever in the sport, setting the blueprint for Zab Judah. This guy somehow managed to "lose" to Luis Santana twice - holy crap.

    1. Harry Greb, because of his volume, speed, and unpredictability. If you read all the newspaper accounts of Greb, you'll realize he would be a nightmare for Floyd.

    2. Roberto Duran, because he had the precision and handspeed to catch Floyd with a good punch that would turn the fight in his favor.

    3. Sugar Ray Leonard, because he was agile and ultra-fast on both hands and feet, and that's what you need to beat a fighter with the "shoulder-roll" defense.

Maybe, but I still Duran's sustained and effective pressure would beat Floyd and there's nothing I've seen in Floyd's career to suggest otherwise. I also think a prime SSM would give Floyd hell too.

He was a hell of a fighter, he wasn't a big 154 fighter, but his skills, speed and power were amazing, even his ring i.q. was decent. i'v seen all of his fights and the santana fight was norris loosing his temper and going wild a bit. He showed allot of discipline in the rematch with simon brown. with all that said i still think he'd beat mayweather, as i said in the beginning, i think the best way to offset floyd is a combination of blazing, speed, footwork, being physically bigger, and packing a punch, norris had all of this, terry norris didn't have the best of chins but look at the guys who knocked him out in his prime, you needed to pack a decent punch to get him going.

I would probably change SRL and Hearns from might to would, and I'd at least put Duran as a favorite to beat Mayweather.

LOL at the sudden greatness of FMJ. Castillo beat him at 135. This is the same guy who just a few years ago thought of every excuse NOT to fight PacMan, Margarito (pre-wrap scandal), Williams, and Clottey (pre-PacMan debacle).

This is the same guy who has let every major fight, within the last couple of years, go the distance and couldn't put away a bloated JMM away.

FMJ HAS shown he can beat C+ to B-rated fighters, but it's his OWN fault why his resume will always be questioned or scrutinized.

Bottom line is that FMJ is the JWW and WW version of the Klitschko brothers. A very good fighter fighting in a weak era and a DUCKER to top it off. Unless of course you want to call Judah, Ortiz, Canelo, JMM (a bloated one at that), and Guerrero this era's version of Hagler, SRL, Duran, JCC, Hearns, Benitez, etc.

I'm not as knowledgeable as most here but I think a prime de la Hoya and prime Mosley can get the job done.
