Like I said, Tua had an awesome chin but I don't think he took as many punches as Chavez.

The fights with Ike and Lewis are enough to prove Tua had one hell of a beard.

I just thought Chuvalo took more punishment than Hagler and therefore earned his position. Hagler never really ever took a beating like guys like Chavez, LaMotta, and Chuvalo did, so I'm slightly skeptical.

    Wayne McCullough

Tua has a very good chin no doubt, but i dont think he should be on any list.

Tua has a great chin, but went into a bit of a shell when he tasted Lewis's power.

And he was KO'd as an amateur by the great Felix Savon.

Forget what happened in the amateurs.

Tua took big shots from Ike for 12 rounds, and Lewis for 12 rounds. That's all we need to know.

Hagler defintitely, why not Ali? He fought some (if not all) of the biggest bangers in history. I actually think his chin contributed to his Parkinsons. He consistently took the best they had to offer, and came back to win. Anyone else would have been stopped.

Ali is undoubtedly worth of top 5. He tends to get left out though because he's cliche.

Taking big shots from Foreman. Frazier, Shavers, and Lyle is no mean feat.

The reason I don't have him at the top is because he was stopped. We all know Foreman was about to drop him, and Frazier too probably. Not quite the best of all time. I just think Robinson is the best puncher of all time, and he never dropped Lamotta in the 6 fights.. and only stopped him in the last. That's why he takes number 1 for me. Hagler took some monster shots from some monster punches... hence why he's at 2. Never seemed hurt.

Anyway, the order doesn't really matter.

:good I give Chuvalo preference because he was taking full blooded shots from the biggest punchers at Heavyweight. They all hit significantly harder than anybody laMotta or Hagler fought. But I've got no issues with your order.
