Pick pretty much any five names from this list:

Chuvalo, McCall, McCullough, Ali, Chavez, Hagler, Basilio, Fulmer, LaMotta, Duran.

Wow, Margarito must be really hated for not taking the SSM fight! I looked through all 3 pages, and not one person mentions him. C'mon now!
Meanwhile people are mentioning guys like James Toney...Who does have a great chin, but the reason he never went down is due to his great defensive skill NOT HIS CHIN! The same with VK...
Thre's a difference between knowing how to take a punch, and actually having a good chin. Margarito RUNS in to the punches, takes them FLUSH, and keeps coming. Somebody like a defensive master like Toney/ B-Hop never really get hit flush to tell if there chin is as good as somebody like Marg.

Just don't see how people are so biased to not even give Marg honorable mention......

I like Margarito. He deserves an honourable mention, but in no way he deserves a place in the top 5, not even top 10 if you ask me.

If you've seen the Santos fight you would know what I mean. Margarito was rocked and hurt numerous times vs an 154-pound fighter, his chin is nowhere near that good outside welterweight.

My list contained the following names: Oliver McCall, George Chuvalo, Muhammad Ali, Marvin Hagler, Julio Cesar Chavez, Jake La Motta, Vitali Klitschko, David Tua. Margarito is not in their league in terms of chin.
