Yes. Camacho and Taylor are hard to compare because they are so different in their delivery.

That is true. Both were blinding fast. I tend to believe that Taylor threw more slaps at times.

Taylor slapped a bit and went for volume, absolutely.

Camacho at `30 and `35 seemed to have more concussive power to go with that blazing speed.

Ray Leonard looked awfully fast to me. And those shots he threw at Welterweight were intended to put a hurt on you. No doubt about it. Not saying he was a Tito Trinidad type banger, but he was throwing those shots to cause pain that's for sure.

They did. He had a knack for scoring with punches his opponent didn't even see. His blinding hand and foot speed often gave them angles they just couldn't prepare for.

    Camacho 1st, Calzaghe 4th.

I guess Taylor 2nd and Leonard 3rd. I don't know. As said before, Taylor's tendency to slap and sacrifice power/leverage for speed and volume makes it a little difficult to compare.

Calzaghe had some quick hands...is he rated lower because he fought at a higher weight? Because comparatively to competition I think these 4 are all very close and wouldn't argue any ranking to a large degree?

    Just my $0.02
    1 Camacho
    2 Taylor
    3 Calzaghe
    4 SRL

I believe that Taylor slapped a lot sometimes, Camacho in his early days put some fast combinations without losing the power in it.
