ali on his best night ? possibly no one. i stand by thinking tyson had the potential to be the best ever but he never reached that potential
I think he outboxes him the way he did Holmes. Holmes was more technicall sound than Ali. Ali would be fighting a guy with an awkard style, with combination punching, and a guy who also has ring smarts as well.
he didn't look too smart after 90 seconds of the mike tyson experience. i thought he did all his best work at cruiser ?just can't see him beatig ali at all.
2 different styles and that Tyson would of beatin almost any great that night. That Tyson was a hell of a lot better than the one that got fed to Holyfield and Lewis and they're even aware of that.
To beat prime ali i think you need to have a very very good jab, therefore holmes and lewis come to mind, also fraizer i think would always have given ali some problem, prime tyson combination of speed and power would make it intersting but i think he would need to do the job early and i doubt he could, in all honesty i fancy ali to beat every heavyweight in history prime for prime
Prime Tyson had a good quick jab, lets not forget he outjabbed tucker and biggs. They both had a big height advantage on him.
Tyson would be in awe of Ali, because Ali could match his power and was much more gifted and sophisticated fighter, of all on that list I give Tyson the least chance against a prime Ali. And Lennox the most, I think he could win on points but Ali would still be the hot favourite obviously.
Again, Ali was far superior when he was a young man. In my opinion, if he met any of these fighters when he was 25 and they were all 25, none of these fighters could beat him. Tyson and Holmes would probably have the best chance. Lewis? At 25 Lewis was not a very well-rounded fighter. He was very althetic and had a great right hand, but he didn't really start dominating with the jab until he hired Emmanuel...and, therefore, Ali would've beat him easily.
