I'm interested to see just how good the Nordic Nightmare really is.

Unfamiliar with most of these guys but learned some from this thread, so THANKS for posting it here in General. I'm always hoping the HW division can raise its profile.

I'd got with the Peter fight. Of the guys in there, he's the one most likely to progress into contention. Brewster vs. Helenius is an interesting fight, but even if Brewster wins as expected, it's unlikely that he will go anywhere. Platov is a regional fighter, as is his opponent, I doubt much comes of that either.

Platov has been inactive, that slugfest with Williams seems to have taken a bit out of him. However if he is still motivated enough he can still make some waves in the hw division. Fair play to Pulev for taking a fight like this so early. Even if Pulev does win, i worry his lack of power will be his downfall in the long run.

If you're not intrigued by what Pulev has accomplished after only 4 fights or are not interested in seeing Platov (who's style is like a supernova of destruction, pure unbridled aggression) then i don't consider you a boxing fan .

    Pulev Platov for me.

    Helenius.

He looked good in his last fight. I'd like to see how he does against someone more experienced.

    X2.

A lot of these guys really should spend more time in the Euro forum to learn about upcoming fighters.

Pulev stops Skelton! Not quite as a great a victory as once it might have been, as the iron man has been wore down in the last couple of years, but the bottom line is Pulev beat a former world title contender in his fifth fight. This guys is for real.

Too bad the the Platov fight fell through- seems to me Platov is gun shy ever since the Danny Williams fiasco. Maybe they can get him in the ring with the Kobra later this year.

    Helenius-Brewster later today.
