Modern era of heavyweight boxing started on april 27th 1956, any heavyweight who fought after that can easily beat any heavyweight pre april 27th 1956

LOL I forgot saying something about a white fighter here will get you banned. Are you telling me. Archie Moore, Joe Louis, and Jersey Joe Walcott were still in there prime when Marciano fought them? They were all pushing 40 and did he knock out any of them in a few rounds? Besides Joe Louis what other 205 plus pound modern sized heavyweight did he beat period? Give me a break, As I said SusieQ is a Marciano fan so you know what type of a person he is and if I called him that you all know I would be banned.

Still riding some 3rd rate hacks jock who stopped boxing 50 years ago. Marciano was overrated period, His chin, His power and his wins. Get over it.

Tyson? No friggin' way is his power overrated. None. Marciano either. My pick is Vitali Klitschko.

Vitali clearly leads the pack .. he is a very accurate, highly effective puncher but his one punch power and over all strength are over rated to me ...

Jeffries may be another ... more of a clubber by what I have read.

Marciano for sure ... a beast without question. Terrific stamina and kept consistent power through a bout based on excellent conditioning ... no doubt a big hitter for a 185 pound guy but no way I see him being nearly as effective against big heavyweights ..

I think Louis' one shot power is overrated, much like Tyson he relied more on speed, accuracy and timing combined with good power but i agree with Vitali Klitschko being the most overrated simply because people take a peak at his KO%.

Agree 100% here. When did he ever knock over a legitimate top 10 heavyweight?
