    Thoughts?

If any fighter is on the ring magazine top 100 punchers of all time list....he is automatically credited as a big puncher..

    Joe Frazier maybe.
I'm sure guys like Bonavena, Quarry, Chuvalo could punch a bit, but I probably wouldn't class them as "big punchers".
    Or 'Manuel Ramos'.

Silly rationale simply because the top100 punchers is at all weights ie p4p therefore lightheavies such as Bob Foster are there yet they never kod top heavyweights.
So they can only be credited as big punchers in their appropriate division.
We all know what this thread is about, what the motive and agenda is, but as I've pointed out , its already flawed.Still it will give the OP something to moon over. :good

after watching Povetkin take out some tough chinned men in his last 3 fights and watching Haye wobble the 7ft. Valuev, Thompson stopping the 6'8 Price X2, Peter,Rahman,McCline (who Ko'd Grant in1) Brock,Austin,Brewster, etc. I would have to say he fought a very good share of punchers

    George Foreman.

He did beat punchers like Frazier and ****ey but first time around he missed SHavers, Quarry, Mac Foster and Oscar Bonnavena. Liston was in his stable and Patterson still active. second time around he missed out Lewis, Ruddock, Bruno, Bowe, Tyson.

I thought power was the last thing to leave a fighter? Didn't Walcott knock Charles out with one left hook?

Archie Moore knocked out 19 men in professional fights who weighed at or above 200lb

Louis Walcott Moore all rates in ring magazines top 100 punchers of all time list. Louis and Moore came in at number 1 and 4. Walcott came in at number 63

Rex Layne was 34-1 with 25 knockouts when he fought Marciano

Would you say champions like Leon spinks , johannson, burns, hart, fitzsimmons, Corbett , Jeffries, Johnson, Patterson, etc beat bigger punchers than Marciano did?
