Which contender iyo could have beaten George at his best? Some one from any era who may or may not have even challenged for the title? Is there a heavy who was never champ that could have done that?

Tony Tucker may have posed problems. Big, durable, good jab and good wheels. Not saying he would beat him but that would of been tricky match up. Tucker had ability.

Quarry he may have been too small in the end for Foreman but he made a living thrashing many big bombers of the era with precision counter punching. Mac Foster, Ron Lyle, Earnie Shaver, just to name 3. It's no coincidence that Quarry who fought everyone was somehow missed by Big George.

Tucker s a good pick but been a champ of sorts rules him out. But he could have had a good shot. Quarry again good pick but if he step s in straight away takin it to George he's going down hard. The only way would be to try to counter foreman, keep level headed , keep jabbing and moving much as poss. Hope he gas s in the later rounds. But of course it s not guaranteed success that he gets out of the first round!

I will take a wild stab.

    What about Lou Nova?

    Certainly a stylistic risk.

Quarry had earned his shot at Champ Foreman via his k.o. of Shavers in one round. But Foreman took the Ali Fight for "September", and the powers-to-be made Quarry fight Frazier in June, and Quarry's style would have never allowed him to beat Frazier.

Was going to mention tucker who would have had a VERY good chance but he actually won a title. Ruddock would have eventually been stopped in a foreman Lyle style fight. Tua gets stopped. Hmmm maybe luis ortiz?
Actually I would favor ibeabuchi if he stayed atleast reasonably smart and responsible

More fighters than most people seem to think ?
My view is that Foreman appears to be vastly overrated.
Beat a long string of no names.
Blew out a poor version of Frazier.
    Blew out Norton.
Exposed alarmingly by Ali for a boxer considered an ATG ( has a peak ATG ever been so exposed ?)
    Then Lyle , Young.Holyfield, Morrison.
    Moorer shouldve beaten him.
Worthy of his place in the scheme of things.
    But overrated.

And you my friend have no manners.
Becoming confrontational with someone at the first sign that you disagree with them,is a serious character defect.
I suggest you join a gym, get rid of some of your steam man.
