Which heavyweight had a better defence: frazier or tyson? PLEASE MOVE TO CLASSIC

    It's a close one for me. I really dont think Tyson was up against the depth quailty that Frazier was, so when I look at Frazier getting clipped by the likes of Ali/Foreman you got to put it context - how would he have faired against Tysons opponents?

    IMO - If Frazier was hypothetically warped into Tysons era he would have dominated, and would have looked great doing it, just like Tyson. The defense isn't what differentiates them in degree IMO.

    yeah I don't expect you to be able to appreciate defensive aspects of an aggressive boxer's arsenal.

    What makes Tyson's defence easily better?

    What criteria are you using?

    Did Tyson EVER slip punches against an opponent as quick and skilled as Ali?

    Did Tyson consistently utilise his defence throughout his career or even throughout a fight?

    your post is a joke and it's idiot boxing fan's like you that make this forum a **** heap.

    There are very valid arguments in favour of Tyson here, yours isn't one of them.
