yeah tua has good power, but when he doesnt use it to KO top guys, then you cant put him above tyson...tyson kod alot of former champs or top guys who had not been stopped previously.....i will take first time KOs over tubbs, thomas, biggs, ruddock, spinks, holmes, berbick and even guys who have been stopped previously but not in the devasting manner in which he did...frazier, bruno,
carl williams goes 15 rounds with Holmes in 1985 first loss and 1 round with tyson in 89 for 2nd loss
alex stewart goes 8 tough rounds with prime holyfield and being stopped on cuts in first loss, a year later tyson destroys him in 1 round for 2nd loss

tua has great punches...but mostly against grade c opponents.....

In terms of fighter's who fought at heavyweight, Joe Choynski deserves a mention. He was only about 170lbs yet Jack Johnson said that Choynski hit him the hardest, and JJ went in with the likes of Jeffries and Fitzsimmons. He also thinks that he punched harder than Louis or Dempsey.

Not only that, a notable is that Choynski absolutely pole-axed iron-jawed Fitzsimmons with one punch and Fitz by accounts barely got up and was all over the place. Jeffries also said of Choynski:

"Choynski rushed and we went at it hammer and tongs, with the crowd going wild. He fought so fast he was all over me ... He convinced me that he was not only the cleverest boxer I had ever seen but also a terrific hitter. He fought so fast I could not use what skill I had to best advantage, and was taking a wonderful boxing lesson every minute ... He hit me so hard he broke my nose and wedged my lip between my teeth. He drove my head so far back I thought my neck stretched a foot"

Obviously mentions to the likes of Fitzsimmons, Langford and Barbados Joe. None of who were HW's in the slightest, but all knocked out some of the best HW's of their respective generations. Can you imagine how concussive these guys would be as punches if they were true HW's?

I was looking for Shavers too guys.
He would take away some of the Foreman & Tyson votes for sure.
Omitting Larry Holmes is no big deal, he wasnt a monster puncher, but you should have squeezed Earnie in somehow.

Foreman with a bullet. Raw power. Guys like Tyson and Joe Louis had some raw power eccentuated by hand speed and technique. Foreman just had pure power.
