Stiverne...if he ever decides to become more active and fight a few times a year...this waiting for vitali dont cut it in my book...
he's definitely not a prospect. the kid anthony joshua has a good shot if his handlers move him correctly, slowly increasing his level of competition until he's ready for a meaningful step up in competition. If deontay wilder had been moved in that way then he either would have been knocked out by now, or he would be an absolute beast right now. unfortunately he's only a beast athletically. he's dreadful in terms of technique.
I like Jennings, but honestly, Perez seems to be the goods. Id like for him to fight a little smarter and maybe lose a few lbs.... but hes a quality operator relative to the division. Hope he stays dedicated and focused.
Hughie Fury, Tyson Fury, Pulev, Boytsov, etc.......................Hughie Fury is 6 feet 8, only just turned 19 years old, was the Jr. Amateur champion, has straight punches, power, defense, stamina. He would knock Wilder out right now, but Wilder would never fight anyone who can punch back.
Probably Anthony Joshua. Hughie Fury and Deontay Wilder may have a great future, but I'm less confident in them than in Joshua, who seems a more complete fighter without any serious shortcomings. If Magomedrasul Majidov were to turn pro, he'd do very well.
Tyson Fury and his cousin Hughie. They are both huge, and have a really good skillset. They are smart, unless they decide to clown (Tyson). Watch Tyson's highlights, he can be impressive. Combinations, fast hands, good high guard, longest reach in the division, and a chin that can survive Chisora's blown. Truly underrated. They are young. Tyson is just 25, like Joshua if i'm not wrong? And Hughie is just 19, between 5 years he could be the most skilled hw. Also Anthony Joshua, if he doesn't have a glass chin and stamina problems. Too early to say. Another prospect is Artur Szpilka, but he's too small. The same goes for Usyk, that i don't know, but he's more a cruiserweight than a superheavy.
Andy Ruiz Jr has never really been tested a bit like Cornish in that respect. He always looks in quite poor shape but is nearly 50 pounds lighter than his debut so i guess he will never look athletic
hughier and tyson? lol they should just go ahead and shut the division down if thats even mediocre level in the future.
Perez showed he's got slick boxing skills and a solid chin and doesn't seem to have problems going the distance.
