WOW! Good post. The Tyson against Holmes, Spinks era was totally intimadating. The neck roll, push gloves back against the knuckles, ice cold stare what a monster. Special mention though: `Big` George Foreman against Frazier 1, and the cold brutal assasin vs. Norton. Look at how menacingly close he comes to Norton when the ref and cornerman are stopping their fight. He`s staring at Norton like he wants to light him up again...

 

For some reason I think it would be Liston. Think how Floyd Patterson felt before his fights with him? Patterson sure had guts to fight him in a rematch.

 

dempsey??....not a physical specimen but he had that MEAN look...as tyson pointed out, he fought like he hadnt eaten in an week....he had an innate ferocity and an inner will which enabled him to beat much bigger, more powerful men.....

but, in the traditional sense you guys, i think, mean...gotta be tyson with liston and big george inseperable in second place..

Valuev must be one of them. I mean the guy is 7 ft tall and over 300 lbs. That's gotta be intimidating when your facing a guy that big.
