Which Heavyweight today is a stylistic nightmare for David Haye?

Believe it or not I agree with some of this post. Chambers & Povetkin would tough fights for Haye but I'd still favor the Hayemaker to win. Chambers has the better chance against Haye, especially after Povetkin's latest performance.

I'd still favor Vitali though but Haye's speed would trouble VK no doubt. Vitali is still a much better boxer, a true fighter and he has more than enough power left to KO Haye, especially considering VK's punch output & Haye's less than stellar chin. Even if Haye does catch VK with something big Vitali's chin has held up to much more power than David can muster, so Haye ain't getting the KO unless Vitali gets injured or cut. I don't think Haye has the skill to outbox and decision the older brother :nono

You don't address any of his accomplishments at cruiser........You also avoid the dramatic means with which Haye takes most every opponent out.....

And I like how you dismiss every heavyweight opponent with a cute little title.


I guess with your name creation means if minimizing a fighter by diminishing their oppoents with cute little titles, you'd say when Holyfield beat Tyson, he beat a mere *pidgeon keeper*?

Hate is a technical and fast fighter who loves to be free and do feints and pot shots.

Wlad is not a stylistic nightmare. He is just as fast as hate though which is extremely unusual for someone his size. So hate will always have huge problems with him. But that is not based on style.

In terns of style a guy that stands in Hayes chest and does not allow him to work freely would be a stylistic nightmare. Someone like Chisora.

 

Well Wladimir obviously. Vitali would be a nightmare for Haye also. I think Chisora would be a good fight but I think Haye would land big shots on Chisora and put him away. Chsiora isn't exactly elusive, he's eat some big shots. Other than that, I don't really see anybody else that would be a "nightmare" for Haye imo. Guys capable of beating him yes.. but stylistic nightmares.. Vitali and Wladimir would be the only ones imo.

Call me crazy, but I have always thought Ibragimov would give Haye fits if he was still fighting and still in good form. Fast, southpaw, quick feet, good chin, decent power.
