Which heavyweight trilogy was the best...

A lot of old-cats here I assume are going to pick Ali-Frazier. I'm gonna pick Holyfield-Bowe being that it is closer to my generation and I enjoy watching the first two fights. The second bout I consider to be one of highest level of heavyweight competition of all time. Manila was ****ing war but ugly at times. That's why I lean over Bowe-Holyfield.

Ali vs. Frazier were two legit greats and matching up in size well also. Bowe and Holyfield was competitive just because Bowe was so much bigger.

 

How can you say that? Evander Holyfield being spoken of in the same sentence as Ali or Frazier is not an insult or an exaggeration. Holyfield is an legit ATG Heavyweight and his resume is top 10.

Riddick Bowe h2h... is easily top 15 at HW and would more than stand his own against either Ali or Frazier. The way you said it made it sound like we talking about Brewster vs Sergei or something.

Bowe and Holyfield in terms of sheer talent and raw ability is equal to if not greater than Frazier and is only a tier below Ali.

 

Evander is in the class of Ali and Frazier, but Bowe is not. But I give Evander so much credit. I give him a chance to beat Frazier. I think he would win. Frazier would not be a big heavyweight now.
