A year earlier ,[2006,] he pulled a victory out of the fire in the last round against Liakhovich. Prior to that ,and after he had fought Lewis in1998 he had fought ONE rated contender Jameel McCline ,[2002 ,]and he had lost that one too
From 1998 when Lewis stopped him in 5rds until 2010 , when he lost to Vitali.Briggs fought 3 rated contenders losing 2 and being well behind going into the last round against the other, [Liakhovich].

Thats THREE rated contenders in 12years and NONE in the 3 years previous to being beaten by Vitali.

Brigg's career was effectively over after he lost to Ibragimov in 2007 in the next 3 years he had only 4 fights against no bodies and no fights at all in 2008.
