    Inspired by Crosstrainer's "Duran/heavyweight list"

    Sugar Ray Leonard
    Wilfred Benitez
    Thomas Hearns
    Marvin Hagler
    Hank Armstrong

    Closer = Closest. Keyboard error.

    Well, For Sugar Ray Leonard I suppose Ali. The idea of Ali is more similar to Benitez, that pull back and lean style, earlier on Ali used to roll a bit more, But then even... As for guys who fought at HW who fought similar to Armstrong- Qawi? Though that's not in the spirit of the game here. Armstrong... My pick is Rocky Marciano.

    Thomas Hearn's jab and Larry Holme's jab were both very effective.

    Henry Armstrong also influenced Joe Frazier too.

    That's actually pretty damn good. Hagler is the tough one because of the lack of Southpaw heavyweights. Maybe Ruslan Chagav or Vassily Jirov due to their aggressive southpaw styles but then again Hagler was a hell of a combination puncher as was Moorer. Moorer just wasn't as aggressive.

    Yeah I couldn't really think of one for Hagler, I just chose Moorer because of the shaven head Southpaw stance and combination punching as you said. True at times Moorer struggled to really go up another gear, but boy when he did let his hands go he could be quite vicious. His stoppages of Cooper, Stewart, in particular were pretty brutal them uppercuts were a peach.

    Yes I thought that Hagler would be a tough one to match up. I could n't think of anyone.
