now were playing the game where nobody can ko him lol.

Which greats can out-box him over 12 rounds?

Lewis?(though I see wlad as a better version lewis could fight on the inside much better ) and a slick heavy could pull it off but not many so i'd punt a prime james toney?

I don't think ali could he would have very little advantages and the ones he would have wouldnt be by much.

Lennox, Ali, Holmes, maybe Vitali, Holyfield and Bowe. I'm not 100% certain they all outbox him, he'd give them problems for sure. Tysons speed could give him nightmares. Sanders despite knocking him silly, was technically outboxing him to

Even Briggs could crack his chin and I think has better hand speed but the problem has always been his stamina but dropping weight may help this, he fought at 258 last night a 5 year low.

Holmes, Ali, Norton all have the size, reach, speed and jab ... they would all bust him up ..

Ali, holmes, Lewis, Liston, and Tyson would outbox woad IMO.
wlad isn't an atg... not yet. his chin will leave him behind against a few punchers, and his unwillingness to take a chance.

Okay, on the names that were dropped here:

Lewis - no way. Wlad is suprior to Lewis on the outside, is sightly faster with his hands and feet. Lewis needs to make this a fight to win - which he would I think.

Toney - no. he lacks the footwork. Wlad would simply keep him at distance with his jab. Toney would get stopped here.

Ali - yep, his speed would trouble Wlad big time.

Holmes - I think so. This would be great to watch. Holmes would need to take some risks and probably would get hurt but would eek out a win.

Vitali - no. His lean back defence does not work against tall fighters, the Lewis fight proved this. His jab is worse than Wlad, he is slower. Wlad would but him up with the jab. The only way Vitali wins this is making it a brawl.

Holyfield - no, this would look like his fights with Lewis with less inside work and more hugging.

Bowe - nah, his outside game just isn´t good enough.

    Briggs - don´t embarrass yourself.

Tyson - he would beat Wlad but he ain´t outboxing him.

    Norton - see Briggs.

Liston - he has a good chance but he like Lewis he would need to make this a fight.

I want to add Walcott. He has the skill and speed to pull it of.

Bowe and lewis both have good outside games and good jabs
and they have good power to shatter Wlad's chin and you better believe they will be hitting it a lot
    same with liston

Read the title. It´s not about beating him but about outboxing him. And neither of them will do so. I thnk Lewis and Liston beat him but they ain´t outboxing him. Bowe loses to Wlad. I don´t rate him really high.

oh in that case liston or lewis outboxes him but they certainly beat him
Bowe might win on his best night against Wlad, (against Holyfield), when he starts using his strength and size and infighting skills.
Holyfield would probably knock him out

70's Foreman, such a strange pawing bear like jab will probably have Wlad thinking WTF, then comes the heavy artillery behind the jab seemingly out of nowhere. I think by the time Wlad realizes to take George seriously he would be seriously hurt.

Joe Frazier's style can get on the inside as can Tyson's.

But I don't know if any of these fights go the distance.

    Lewis for sheer outboxing.

Prime Ali does as well, but Ali would definately outpoint him.

Lewis´ outside game isn´t as good as Wlad´s , he won´t outbox him. :bart

And neither would Foreman, Frazier or Tyson. Read the thread title.

    I agree on Ali.

    Yep. He would. :bart

Wlad still can get tagged because he moves staright back, and operates primarily as a jab-jab cross fighter. Lewis has the jab to disrupt Wlad's rythm, can reach him when he retreats, and should be able to work his way in, where he puts his punches better than Wlad.

    Leiws outboxes Wlad, I think.

Wlad has the better jab with the longer reach and the faster hands. Lewis would have success at times but in the end this would decide the fight.
