Tyson was improving all the time as champ and Tucker hit Tyson a lot less than many of Holmes world title opponents hit him.

Tyson's defence wasn't improving, in what way was it improving?

We disagree on a lot of things but tysons defense is always underrated for some weird reason. Easily top 5 in the division if youre combining head movement/defense/evasiveness and the fact he had a size disadvantage in most fights. He shouldn't be penalized because the opponent was reluctant to actually hit him back, thats shows that he was a good pressure fighter and counter puncher. That takes skill.

I pasted a film study about Tyson`s adjustments he was getting better with each title fight in every way, on this study it is mentioned that Tyosn was a master at changing angles and often punched out of a southpaw stance using te D`Amato shift, it`s also pointed out that Tyson`s fight IQ was as good as any fighters and only getting better in every way.

Well Tysons ability to get those big shots in was when his opponents threw shots bc it opened them up . He slipped and countered them. Tyson was a master at tucking under shots even when clipped slightly often countered them .

If you really study Tyson fights to the extreme you will notice the guys throwing more jabs get hit more. tto defeat Tyson THEN one really had to pick shots wisely...if you noticed with Holmes he started really getting caught when he played the more long jabbing game, this makes it extremely difficult to Defeat Tyson if you weren't a power puncher. Which is why many could not defeat him or come close at his peak.
