I agree about the defence but not the footwork. He has improved his footwork quite a bit.

 

You have to add Chris Byrd to any serious list.

 

Indeed, too many people forget just how good Byrd was because Wlad took it to him. The guy had/has (we shall see tonight) some excellent boxing skill, which is the only reason he made it as far as he did at Heavyweight.

 

That's a good point -- I was actually thinking of defensive footwork, but you're right.

Same for your inclusion of Byrd to the list, he slipped my mind, as I'm sure several others did. Thanks for the reminder.

I dont know much about heavyweights, but wasn't Greg Page a good boxer?

 

Greg Page was in the upper echelon when he was motivated. Too bad it was only for a few fights.
