If the general forum had existed in its curent form from 1880 onwards which historic fighters would have had the most anoying and delusional followers.

    A few suggestions

    John L Sullivan

    Joung Griffo

    Jim Corbett

    Stanley Ketchel

    Batling Nelson

    Jack Johnson

    Mickey Walker

I suspect that fans from earlier eras were worse.

Ali was all ready walking on water in the 1970's. lol. Make Ali his 70's form, and active, and I sure we have chats if Ali could beat God or something crazy like that.

I expect John L Sullivan and Dempsey fans wont be far behind. The Mauler Dempsey that is.

There's an identical thread to this one in general, Janitor.

I'd suggest Fitzimmons and Langford. Travelling from Middle to Heavy would make that nuthugger type insane. I'd suggest that you wouldn't be able to have a sensible conversation with a Langford nut-hugger post his 29th round KO of Wills.

You can't have a sensible conversation with a Tyson nut-hugger based on a 4th-round KO of the dusty corpse of Larry Holmes. A Langford fan would at least have something to crow about.

I sort of wish Cooney fought in internet times, I would like to see what the nuthuggers would say after the Holmes fight is all.

Mickey Walker and Harry Greb would have the Tyson fans; Gene Tunney would have all the Lil Floyd fans.

He would have been really hyped up only to dissappoint alot of fans.

    What about Sugar Ray Leonard?

I think Ali's lot after Frazier one would be the funniest. Although the Dempsey lot after Tunney would be a chuckle.
