I made a post not so long back about the current crop of HW's having an unusually bad level of punch resistance.

I mean look at the top heavyweights list:

Fury
Wlad
Joshua
Wilder
Povetkin
Ortiz
Haye
Parker
Pulev

You can't say a single one of them has a good chin, remarkable really.

Agreed. They are all packing elements of glazing. Some more than others. I think Parker probably has the best chin out of those from what I've seen. If Wlad goes for it against AJ, he'll have him on the canvas at least.

 

hughie has an iron chin.

 

Duhaupas and Wach have the best chins in the division but that's pretty much all they have though.

They would probably crack the top 10 with even basic boxing skills. Especially Wach with his size would do well if he learned how to actually box.

The skill level is pretty low at HW and those who have skills have suspect chins.

 

Why are people so obsessed about glass jaws does it make you people feel better about yourselves or something?
