    At the time no one could have predicted how great Manny would turn out..Naseem was considered as dnagerous as Pac is now ..

    Nah, he definitely wasn't. Pac is P4P NUMBER OOOOONE now. Hamed was never top 5. Pac now has wins over stoppage wins over 2 HOFers (MAB & Morales), a win over the #3 P4P fighter JMM, and world titles in 4 weight divisions. Hamed then had nothing of the sort. He was nowhere near as dangerous a proposition. Good puncher, but thats only one facet to a fighter's all-round game.

    Read the thread "which is a better win: mab to naz or morales to pac?"

    Now that we know how good Pac turned out to be, its obvious that Morales' win is better. Maybe back then it wasn't that obvious, but now it is and since the question is formuled in the present we can say that Morales' win is better.

    I have watched the fight many times. I had it slightly wider than 8-4 (but the judges didn't) but although Barrera was winning the rounds, he never had Hamed in trouble at any stage. I agree that Barrera fought a tactical fight though and won clearly, however it was not a beating or a shutdown.

    Even though I like Morales more as fighter, MAB's win over Naz has more value, simply because Naz was an international star who had gained invincibility status. Pac regardless of his achievements had lost before and had shown vulnerabilities in past fights, ex. Marquez I, Sanches. So IMO MAb's win is better.

    i think they're both on the same level..but with morales to pac being greater because pac turned out to be a more greater fighter.

    MAB to hamed was good because hamed had that aura of invincibility and was undefeated..it was even more like an upset because hamed was more favored over barrera at that time.

    But still i think the win was of both equal quality

    No-one in boxing thought he was anything like invincible- he was widely known to be an accident waiting to happen who used power to bail him out of the trouble that his non-existent defence would get him in to.

    Morales win over Pacquiao because Pacquiao abused Barrera and Morales beat him. I guess you could say the same thing with Junior Jones but Pacquiao is a way better fighter.

    True he did get knocked down alot, however, when you consistently KO your opponents , including the three you mentioned , you gain invincibility status and those small mistaked are forgotten, thats just how boxing is. Dont forget, the kid was 35-0 before he fought MAB, thats a pretty long run with an impressive KO percentage. You looking at Naz now, since you saw his defeat, but before MAB dismantled him, he was considered unbeatable.
