Which is better: Blood, urine or hair tests?

From everything that Ive read, (and im not a doctor) but it seems to me that a urine sample detects an illegal substance in your system longer and is just as accurate as a blood test. A hair sample detects substances longer than both blood and urine.

Does anyone have any information to support or dispute this? Im not a ******* by any stretch of the imagination, quite the contrary. I am a pretty big Cotto fan. However, if a urine test is just as if not more accurate than blood or if a hair sample is even more accurate than both than it seems to me that Mayweather is simply playing games. Either he doesnt want to fight Pac or he was trying to play psychological games and doesnt want to give it up.

Can anyone give any further information on testing?

The problem was that someone got paid to say that you would have to do both a Blood and Urine test in order to catch specific PED's. Labs get paid more...

    Hair is the best way.
as you would have to loose ALL your body hair a few times AFTER your clean to get it clean. IE there is no way to adulterate a hair specimen.

My brother, who was a world-class powerlifter with a high degree of expertise in supplements and PED's, said to me the other day:

    This content is protected

It's supposed to be a pretty good test. Not sure how comprehensive it is, but it was used in the past for Lance Armstrong, I believe.

Awesome, thank you. So then why cant a hair test be done as opposed to blood the day of or before the fight? Wouldnt that solve th eproblem? Pac wouldnt get poked with a needle and Floyd would get his way

Ya from what Ive read, not only is it just as comprehensive, but it also detects the substance for a longer period of time than a urine or blood test would.

Anything that you will put in your body will come out in your hair, from what I've been told.

I'm surprised that this solution hasn't been offered yet. Seems pretty harmless, particularly if it is a good detector.

Here's something that just occurred to me, though: Maybe it takes a certain amount of time for the hair to reflect usage. That is, if I took a substance on Monday, maybe it wouldn't show up in my hair until, like, Saturday. Takes time for the hair to grow out and perhaps that is part of the issue here?

If that is the case, then this might not close that final 3-day window or whatever that Team Mayweather wants open before the fight. On the other hand, not sure how much a one- or two-day course of steroids, HGH, or any other substance save a hard-core "upper" would have for a fighter, particularly when they also have to face a post-fight test, as well.

I think even by urine it would show up almost immediately and stays in a day or two longer than a blood test or at least the very same time. I dont think Pac prefering to give urine over blood is a big deal at all. Im starting to think mayweather is just being a fickle *****.

Part of the problem is misinformation, and how the people who hate Pacman are willing to run with it. Pac haters, and people from testing companies who are trying to expand their business.

For example, it is a fact that HGH itself cannot be detected in a urine test. So they will bleat on about this and say that only a blood test can show HGH. This is all factual - but it is deceit by omission. They say that HGH itself cannot be detected in a urine test, but they don't say that it isn't possible for a urine test to prove that someone is using HGH.

The truth is that there are other chemical markers in urine that will prove someone is on HGH just as surely as a blood test will. You just wont find the HGH itself.

I think the solution to this is simple. Let Pacman take the test. Fine Mayweather $10 million for a negative result.
If Mayweather is serious in his belief then he will go ahead with this. If he is just being a ****wit then we will find out pretty quickly.

Pac is Samson. If you cut his hair, he will also become weak.

Seriously, Floyd will never agree to hair sample even if it is determined more effective. He stands firm by the USADA requirement.
