Probably, though it's hard to say. Hopefully Canelo fights all three, one after the other. Maybe by next year Bivol will find his balls and agree to a fight.
Clenelo has a... 90% chance of beating inactive PTSD Charlo (who still has nightmares and daymares of Montiel) 50% chance of beating Benavidez 0% chance of beating Beterbiev 0% chance of beating Bivol
Nah, man. Bivol is slick Eurasian chocolate. Ain't no getting through to that unless it's Beterbiev. Beterbiev would cause Clenelo irreparable damage.
Canelo showed his slickness against Bivol, he just had stamina issues. Fix the gas tank and Bivol is toast. That's why Dmitry is ducking. He felt those Bicep bombs, he knows he eeked that one out and he'd be hard pressed to repeat that performance in a rematch. Beterbiev is pushing 40. Another year or so he'll be easy pickings for Canelo. Canelo Undisputed at 168 & 175 is a distinct possibility.
Well, he won, and it's a good example of a fighter coming off of a long layoff, being given no chance to win, then doing the impossible. I wouldn't count Mall out, he'll be very motivated to fight for Undisputed, but you'd have to favor Canelo.
Benavidez is the easiest from that list. When has a pressure, walk in fighter beat Canelo? That plays right into his strengths. Charlo can actually box and move fluidly.
Good point. Charlo is a better pure boxer, he can give Canelo angles. Benavidez is more heavy handed but easier to deal with and counter.
Canelo can beat all of them, easy!! He just needs to use the tactics he used against Kovalev : Canelo has to use his super quick reflexes to get his accountant to deliver millions in to his opponents bank account which will be swiftly followed by Canelo’s opponent forgetting how to fully extend their arms when punching
You can make jokes all you want about it, but none of ya'll believe that he can do this, that he could beat all 4 of them. I think he can, but he's gonna have to go on a career resurgence. He had a set back against Bivol, he was daring to be great but he fell short of beating a great fighter in Bivol. But he definitely learned from that experience and is even more dangerous now that his hand is healed. He has bounced back from the Bivol defeat with 2 resounding victories solidifying himself once again at the top of the sport. He should not back down from any challenge. Charlo is a great test next, and if he is victorious, take on Benavidez. If he goes on a run beating more undefeated fighters he will only cement his legacy as an ATG. And you know what, if Bivol doesn't want to fight him by next year, and if Bivol hasn't fought Beterbiev yet, Canelo should challenge Beterbiev. Because if he beats Beterbiev then he will force Bivol to fight him at 175 because he'd have all the BELTS. I gotta be honest, I like Bivol but I have lost respect for him, he is starting to sound like a risk-adverse diva now that he is ducking the Canelo rematch. I now want to see Canelo vs Beterbiev, even more than Benavidez even more than Bivol. Canelo vs Beterbiev would be EPIC. That's a fight that no one would give him a chance to win. And I want to see Canelo prove the doubters wrong. If he beat Beterbiev no one would ever doubt him again.
