Margarito was a tougher fight than Ortiz and Mosley imo. And as far as Mosley, he was turned into a kitten by Pac.

    Pac's 8th is as relevant as Gayweather's 5th.

    Several fighters have "0"s.

But who else has an "8th"? (Or the equivalent from past generations where there were fewer weight classes)

well Ortiz would beat the crap out of a primed Margarito, and a primed Cotto....Margarito has no power, flatfooted, slow, easy to hit and Mosley KO'd him with a boring style...Ortiz has underrated headmovement, defense, slips punches, keeps his head down and only lets u hit him in the cranium and he throws so many punches with more power than Mosley, he would skunk Margarito 3 rnds tops...Margarito cant hurt him with those soft punches niether..Cotto cant beat a big guy like Ortiz...Ortiz is a bigger, more armoured version Of pacman in that fight...throws allot of punches, longer arms and remember cotto's jaw...I see Ortiz stopping him 5 rnds tops...Pac's legacy comes from him climbing weight classes...very incredible....he ducked the best fighters..Humberto Soto, Zahir raheem, Tim, Mark...we know who they are...& with the opponents that he did face being washed over the hill...it almost seems like he has about 5 legitamate fights out of 50+pro fights....with Floyd...I think he made up for not fighting the top rank fighters that happened to be the most of the ww devision...he made up for it with Ortiz and Mosley...but that still does not give him an astonishing legacy...Floyd's legacy comes from him being the FIRST of his kind...His skills are great...willie pep, pernell, none of them could do what he can do...but I think his legacy mostly comes from him being able to go on 16 month layoffs, and entirely TRUMP the number 2 fighter in the world...SRL went on layoffs and came back to have tough fights...Mayweather just humiliates guys so bad, that it seems like he's fighting bums...with all of this being said, I think their legacies are just about tied...they both have done what no fighter have done...and even tho we all see Pac as a hypejob we cant act like he didnt jump those weight classes like a boxing-gloved frog!

    You are a ****ing clown.

To answer the OP, I'll take Mayweather's 0 over Pacquiao's 8th because of the way you stated the question. Pacquiao's 8th title was a bull**** vacant belt awarded in a catchweight fight between two guys who weren't even ranked in the division.

Pac has won titles in a catchweight fight on 2 divisions. For welterweight, he fought Cotto which was one of the top dog in that division. Besides, Pac went on to defend that title and still is the defending champion. You can argue about the fight against Margarito.
